I had started a habit. A weekly trip to our local library on Sunday afternoons, after nap. We started this during my time home this summer, after Theo was born. I want Max, and eventually Theo, to acquire the same love I have for the library. (well, I hope!)
This past Sunday during our weekly trip, I found these two books. All I can say is, 'where have you been all of Max's life???' He actually sleeps with the Tip Tip Dig Dig book. Loves it.
I highly recommend them for all little boys, and girls too!

The mornings are starting to be cool and crisp. Its these mornings where I enjoy the simplicities of a warm bowl of oatmeal (plain with a sprinkle of chocolate chips!) and a hot cup of tea.
Yesterday I read this post, from Soulemama. Once again, she has said something that has resonated with me. She closed her post with this:
So true. So, so true. Our home is good. I am so very proud of how its transformed from me, to me and Max, to me, Max and Theo. We are still working to find our groove together, but its all good. Very good.
Home is good, and it's a very good thing we like each other so much. This is the place, and these are the people I'm so glad to be sharing this adventure with.

Mom took these yesterday after work, for a couple of reasons. One, we havent had a family photo since the day Theo was born. Two, school needs a family photo for Theo's cubby and Max has an assignment for family photos.
Thanks Mom. I love these.
I had this post all written out and was waiting for the video to load and realized what I typed was the all I needed to do to get myself back on track. Been a bit distracted the last couple of days. When really, the only thing that matters are these two.
This is what a typical night looks like. Such a bad photo, but its our life, right now. I absolutely love love love that Max has a strong resemblance to my sister and brother. And Mohawk Man is getting better at his push-ups.

It was this night that I also found this on the camera. This kid is a trip! Cracks me up! So without further adieu, Max's first home movie.

Remember this post? This morning I learned of good news, that the loved one received good news themselves. So, so long Crap Card, you have not taken us down! I know certain family members have prayed hard over the last few months, myself included. The news this morning made my day.
This time though it was raining and Max kept asking to go outside. Why not??? It wasnt lightening or thundering, just straight down pour. I love this kid.
Probably not the best thing to do - to let him run around in the rain water pooling in the street, but I cant hold back his absolute undying love for water. He is definitely my kid. =)
*lately I've seen a pattern in all my photos of Max - he has no clothes on. Its always the moments I want to capture after we've changed his diaper and his clothes were wet, or he was elbow deep in the sand box and he was covered in it. Trust me when I say this kid, and his brother, have more than enough clothes and they do wear them!
